 Bunion is an enlargement of the joint at the big toe. The bone or tissues at the big toe joint moves out of place which forces the toe to bend toward the others. This effect causing painful lump of bone on the foot. Bunion can cause extreme pain if left untreated. The joint can become stiff and sore making wearing shoes is difficult for the sufferer.
